- Taxi from LAX will be around $45, plus tip.
Give the driver the name of the Guest House or the hotel you are staying at.

This goes from each of the airport terminals (lower level) to Westwood Village. Cost is $10. From Westwood, about 1.5km walk to Guest House
Parking on campus

Park at lot 2 (also called P2). It is at the corner of Hilgard Ave and Westholme Ave. It costs $12/day. You can just drive into the lot, find any pay space (there are colored green lights indicating free spots) and then pay using a machine where you put in the license plate number and your credit card. Then it is a very short walk to the faculty center (map).

- It is a 15-20 minute walk from the conference venue/the UCLA guesthouse to downtown Westwood. The Big Blue Bus (https://www.bigbluebus.com/) runs regular services from UCLA to Westwood (routes 1, 2, 8) and on to Santa Monica (routes 1 and 2) for $1.25 (cash to driver). Uber and Lyft are also readily available.
Spring Break (3/25-3/29)/Cesar Chavez Day (3/29): UCLA is on spring break, a number of cafes and restaurants are closed/have reduced hours but the main centers are open. Friday is a holiday (Cesar Chavez Day) and a lot of things will be closed, especially on Campus.
