Description
The study of pair production of electroweak gauge bosons at colliders plays an important role in tests of electroweak theory and searches for new phenomena at the TeV-energy scale and beyond. I will present several results on the diboson physics at the LHC collider. Particular emphasis is placed on published and preliminary results on WW and WZ production performed by my group at ATLAS. With the discovery of the Higgs boson in WW and ZZ final states, it is anticipated that diboson physics will play an even larger role in understanding the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking and searching for new phenomena at the LHC.
