Description
This talk will be about the recent recalculation of the reactor antineutrino spectra, and the subsequent re-evaluation of the ratio of observed to expected rates at various short baseline ( < 100m) reactor experiments, leading to the reactor antineutrino anomaly. I will go through the history of the field, up to the present anomaly. I will talk about three solutions, one being the existence of a sterile neutrino. There will then be discussion of a couple of proposed ways that current and future experiments may help to understand and resolve this anomaly.
