Abstract:
We consider the Gauge-Higgs Unification (GHU) scenario as an attractive candidate of physics beyond the standard model. In the scenario, Higgs originates from the extra-space component of the higher dimensional gauge field and hierarchy problem in the Higgs sector is naturally solved. In GHU, Yukawa coupling is gauge coupling to start with and flavor physics is non-trivial and interesting issue. Also, the Higgs may be regarded as a sort of AB phase and its interactions generally show anomalous non-linear behavior.
