Description

As particle colliders continue to push to higher luminosities, particle tracking detectors will need to advance to accommodate the higher event rates. It is increasingly clear that traditional tracking technologies are not up to task, and major advancements in tracking detector technology are urgently needed. I will discuss the particular challenges of tracking at high-luminosity lepton colliders, and detail a technology that may permit high-performance tracking at ultra-high luminosities.
