Description

The first phase of stellar evolution in the history of the Universe may be Dark Will review US Navy nuclear powered platforms and missions from the beginning with the USS Nautilus, the current classes of submarines (Los Angeles class, Ohio class, Seawolf class, SSGNs, and Virginia class), and aircraft carriers (Enterprise class and Nimitz class). We will also present some details of the future classes of submarines (Virginia class improvements and SSBN replacement), and aircraft carriers (Ford class). Additionally, we will touch on design challenges unique to naval ships. Lieutenant Commander Rob Vadnais of Naval Recruiting District Los Angeles, will also be present to say a few words about USN Collegiate programs for students in physics and engineering. These programs allow students to be paid more than $150,000 dollars while going to school.
