Description
I will give some details on work I have done in neuroengineering while on leave over the past year, including details on the Paradromics Argo system.  The Argo system is the highest channel count in vivo neural recording system built to date, supporting simultaneous recording from 65,536 channels, sampled at over 32 kHz and 12-bit resolution. This system is designed for cortical recordings, compatible with both penetrating and surface microelectrodes.
I will also comment on some of the striking similarities between the electronics challenges and strategies for HEP experiments and those in neural recording systems.
