Description
XMASS is a running 832kg liquid xenon scintillation detector for direct search of dark matter at the Kamioka Observatory of Japan. Taking data from November 2013 after careful commission and refurbishment, XMASS has a large exposure of xenon. We are conducting dark matter search by fiducialization and annual modulation, as well as searches for other rare physics processes. In this talk, we will discuss about recent XMASS results and novel hardware and analysis techniques to further boost its performance.
