Introduction, I was planning to point out the importance of undergrad research and give an overview of funding mechanisms, followed by a few reports of completed or ongoing research projects.
The main part of the colloquium will be presentations of undergrad research projects offered by the different research groups that the students could work on during one of the next semesters.
The presentations do not have to come from the professor. Postdocs or advanced grad students should be perfectly fine. Please inform your group members as you see fit.
Thanks a lot to everybody who already sent me their input. Presentations should have a length of ~2min per project. They will be seen as a short pitch for the project, should include contact information, and also point out requirements.
