We will briefly review established methods for imaging and directional detection of fast (~MeV scale) neutrons. Particular focus will be directed to the double scatter camera and potential innovations in geometry, photodetectors, and fast electronics that could improve its performance dramatically. We close with some very early concepts in how these neutron directionality improvements might be leveraged for directional neutrino detection in next generation experiments.
