A high level review of how Oceanit applies fundamental and disruptive research to benefit humans and society. After 30+ years of experience, a pattern is emerging for Hawaii’s Tech future.

Pat is President the local high tech company OCEANIT, which has employed many UH graduates on leading edge technology projects, right here in the Islands. He will tell us about his company, some of their projects, and illuminate us with his view of the importance of Science and Technology in the future economy of Hawaii. Grad students particularly are encouraged to attend this talk.
